BODYGUARD fans were shocked last night when Keeley Hawes' character appeared to be killed in a terror attack.
But the actress left viewers open-mouthed for a very different reason back in 1999, when she stripped off to play a glamour girl in mini-series The Blonde Bombshell.
Keeley plays the young screen star Diana Dors, hailed as the British Marilyn Monroe, in the 90s biopic.
Wearing a glamorous fur wrap and blonde curled wig, the actress looks worlds away from the Keeley now gracing screens.
With Diana known to be a glamour girl, the Line of Duty star is then seen stripping to a lilac corset for a photo shoot, before changing into white lingerie for a steamy romp.
The sauciest moment however comes when her character greets paparazzi naked later on - with Keeley leaving little to the imagination as she poses with her rear to the camera.
Keeley has since starred in a number of popular British dramas, with the recent Bodyguard lauded as the BBC's "best show in 20 years" by fans.
Viewers were only thrilled further when her character, Home Secretary Julia Montague, was killed off by an explosion last night.
For the first 15 minutes, viewers had no idea if Julia had survived the blast, but it was later revealed she had succumbed to her injuries.
Fans immediately took to Twitter to address creator Jed Mercurio's shock twist, writing: "Wtf...seriously gobsmacked now..jaw hit the floor"

Things only became more dramatic when Julia's devastated personal protection officer David Budd - played by Richard Madden - tried to take his own life moments later.
The show has attracted more than 7 million viewers, and Mercurio has revealed there is already a second series in the works.
He told the Mirror: "I have got some ideas for a second series, but it is worth waiting until the run is finished to see which bits worked and which bits didn't work for the audience."

However, he added there is more drama to come on the BBC drama, with just two episodes to go.
He teased: "I have put in some red herrings, you have to be able to have a number of possible answers in play and that is all about what you let the audience in on and what you keep from them."
The BBC will extend the concluding episode by 15 minutes, to make sure the drama delivers a suitably dramatic finale.
