PITTSBURGH (WJAC) — According to multiple reports, the Pittsburgh Steelers are signing Australian punter Cameron Johnston.

The 32-year-old spent three seasons each with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Houston Texans.

According to Pittsburgh Steelers ESPN Insider Brooke Pryor, Johnston was near the top of the league last season in net average, averaging 47.7 yards per punt.

Johnston played collegiately at Ohio State.

Pittsburgh released its former punter, Pressley Harvin III, last month.
