José David Chacon-Valverde, died at 2:29 p.m., police said. He was westbound on West Main Street when he lost control of his 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle near the Myano Lane intersection and was thrown onto the roadway, police said.

The Stamford Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad is investigating the single-vehicle crash.

Police said that neither drugs nor alcohol appear to be a factor in the crash.
